The Bedfordshire Beekeepers Association has existed since the early 1920s and has more than 500 members. We run theoretical and practical courses for beginners, improvers groups for those who wish to increase their beekeeping knowledge, and coaching for beekeeping qualifications. We hold regular meetings where guest speakers talk on a wide range of bee related subjects and run 2 training apiaries where members can learn all aspects of handling bees. Members can access our very successful bulk purchase scheme allowing many essential items to be bought at a lower cost, including jars, frames, wax foundation and much more.
